You are no longer a slave but a son and if a son then an heir of God through Christ!”(Gal 4:7)

Our identity as children of God is our defining feature; it affects how we view everything. As a child of God your relationship to your Father is not based on your efforts or your ability but the love of your Dad.

As a child of God, it also changes your relationship to the world – your identity is not in your circumstances or the affirmation of others but in who you are in Jesus. This changes everything…

You are not the product of your past – In Christ, God has made all things new

You are not the sum total of what you have – In Jesus all things are your's

You are not a beggar looking for scraps of hope in a famine – You are a Prince with God – your cup overflows, your table is filled with the plenty of God

You are not the object of condemnation because Jesus did not come to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved.

You are no longer hemmed in, closed in by impenetrable darkness – you have been brought out by Jesus into His marvellous light

You are not called to live worn out, wiped out & stressed out, but because of Christ’s perfect work we are called to enter His perfect rest

You are no longer strangers or servant – Jesus has called you friends

“You are no longer a slave but a son and if a son then an heir of God through Christ!”
