"And I’ll take up the lute and thank you to the tune of your faithfulness, God. I’ll make music for you on a harp, Holy One of Israel. When I open up in song to you, I let out lungsful of praise, my rescued life a song." Psalm 22:24

Recently during worship, we sang Oceans by Hillsong. It's one of Adam and my favourite worship songs and has been for years, since before we had the kids. Singing these words last week really resonated in me:

"Your Grace abounds in deepest water, Your sovereign hand will be my guide, Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me, You've never failed and you won't start now."

Throughout the whole journey he has been there, in the deepest of waters, guiding us. Where our steps may fail us and fear cripple us we can depend on Him.

When we look at the past we are walking from and trust in the future He has prepared for us, we remind ourselves of testimonies of the faithfulness of God in our lives and in that of others.

How important it is that we dwell on truth and sing it over our lives. How much easier it is to sing these truths in moments of despair than it is to know how to put your situation into words. His truth will always triumph over your situations.
