I read this recently and it really made me think….“don’t you dare shrink yourself for someone else’s comfort. Do not become small for people who refuse to grow”. What dreams to do you have in your heart? What you want to see come to pass in your life must begin inside of you. You must conceive it and believe it first on the inside before you see it come to pass on the outside. There is no fluke in the Kingdom of God.
There is a danger that you can drift through this year and it will look like previous years. That would be such a pity when the voice of God is calling you to dream huge dreams. Your potential is only limited by what you think. Does that sound to you like some sort of pop-psychology self help nonsense? Well if it was about you and dependent on your ability then it would be nothing more than that.
Look at what these verses say - When you receive the Holy Spirit He gives you visions and dreams. The most creative, powerful force in the universe living in you should cause you to dream huge dreams - He is not small or limited!
It is good to have a God dream and vision for your life, for your family, for your church and for your time. At times the world rolls it eyes at those who dare to believe big. Don’t become small for people who refuse to grow. Ask the Holy Spirit today to show you again in a fresh way just what He is calling you for.
