"Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people."

Matthew 9:35

"And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Mark 16:17-17

These two verses have been really on my heart recently, they have been inspiring, encouraging, powerful and, mostly, challenging. My heart is to see people encounter true love in the person of Jesus and to experience the quality of life and relationship that He died to give to us. I want to see people set free from illness and healed from disease and know that it's all from and for God!

But the problem is that all too often I sacrifice my heart and vision for fear. It's an easy setting to pray for people in church, and for our close friends and families, but what about the people we see in crutches walking down the street? What about the woman we see everyday at the train station in a wheel chair? We need to be people who make a stand in these circumstances to not let the devil steal our confidence in Gods ability to break through in all situations. Our God is the God of the impossible, He wants to use us to reach into people's lives with His love and compassion, to show them the true Saviours heart for them and all that he has done on the cross for us!

This week when we encounter "impossible" situations, lets remember that Jesus Christ paid for it all, once and for all, on the cross!! He will always come through for us.

So lets make a stand to believe His word and promise over our lives, that we are to not just preach the Kingdom, but to let people experience His Kingdom.

Lets be that difference!
