Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things that God has prepared for those who love Him. 1 Cor 2:9
I love surprises and I love to give surprises to others. I love to plan things which I know will be a blessing to someone and then share in the joy and excitement when they discover what you've been up to!
I believe this is how God has made us because it is part of who He is and we are made in His image. Throughout the Bible we find stories of how God's plan unfolds and people's lives are changed and transformed beyond anything they could have ever believed possible.
I love the story of Ruth and Naomi. If anyone was down on their luck it was these two ladies. Widows, outsiders penniless and yet God restores everything to them and gives their descendants an incredibly significant role in the future of mankind.
As today's verse says it is impossible in our humanness to grasp the awesome future God has for us.As we meditate on who He is and the work of his hands throughout history and in our lives so far our minds will begin to expand and we will exchange our limited thinking for his limitless ways. Take time this week to ponder all that He has done and allow Him to paint a picture in your heart and mind of all He has called you to be.
