Isaiah 50:4+5

“The Sovereign LORD has given me his words of wisdom, so that I know how to comfort the weary. Morning by morning he wakens me and opens my understanding to his will. The Sovereign LORD has spoken to me, and I have listened. I have not rebelled or turned away.”

The world talks of mantras or words of wisdom. We have something better; the very words of the creator of the universe. We have words of power and purpose from Father God to help us get through the tough times in one piece and to motivate us to greatness when we feel like there is no hope or no point in moving forward. We have the bible full of promises. We have prophetic words of knowledge that just happen to fit into our situation. We have Rhema words from God as we listen to a sermon that speaks into our hearts and brings change to our lives.

Have you ever asked a question in your heart, not telling anyone else, and within days, there just happens to be a message on TV or in church that answers that very question? Have you ever had a financial need, and someone just happens to give you the exact money you need? Have you ever felt led by God to do something, and you have wondered if it is really Him speaking to your heart? So suddenly everywhere you go, people are bringing up the subject in conversation? Has someone ever shared a word with you that made no sense at all to them, but just happened to speak into your situation; a situation you told not one soul about?

They were God moments. They were the times God turned up in time to help you. They were the times when you needed to hear from heaven to make a change. They were God speaking to you. This week let me share with you some of those times in my life when God showed up with a word.
