“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. 3 For I am the Lord your God” ISAIAH 43:2-3
The more that Jesus is revealed in your life, the more of His life you experience. Grace reveals the loving heart of God as our Abba - Our Daddy. The amazing thing about this verse is that it tells us whatever comes our way we should not be afraid. How is that possible?
This verse tells us that we are redeemed - purchased at a great price. It tells you today how valuable you are to God. He knows your name, He knows every wrinkle and every thought and here He declares that you are His. You do not belong to the world, to the devil or anyone else. You are a Son or Daughter of the King. No matter what you have to go through He is there with you. God never abandons those He loves. He never leaves those for which He has paid a great price. In every second of every day He is working out His love and goodness for you. You are not alone!
The amazing thing in these verses is that you are promised whatever your circumstances, they are not final, they will not overcome you and He always has the final say. Why? He is the Lord! That is why we do not fear. Allow time today to meditate on that and let hope rise in you.
