But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God.. For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.
Hebrews 10 vs 12/14
You are perfect. In your spirit right now. You are as perfect as you will ever be - in fact so much so that God says that right now you are righteous - completely acceptable to Him.
In the Old Testament the priests were continually making representation to God on behalf of the people. In Leviticus there were 5 offerings continually offered - Burnt, Sin, Trespass, Peace & the Meal. However they were never enough to cover the sins of the people.
We do the same today. We may not sacrifice things but we tend to pay penance in our minds & hearts whenever we come up short. We think that God treats us differently because of our sinful acts and that somehow his favour is lessened because we often fail.
Here is the great truth for you today. Whenever you get it wrong to day immediately thank God that you are completely acceptable to Him. You are not condemned. You are not a failure. In God's eyes you are perfect. Do not accept any condemnation today from the enemy. He only want to steal, kill & destroy you. Instead speak out loud that you are loved and that God says you are perfect!
